I wonder about this. I have demonstrated over many years that I have a serious commitment to teacher development, and not just my own but of the entire teaching community. I think the root of this is my belief that education is the most important aspect of any society, and teachers are the heart of it. I want to make my own small contribution to something crucial. I see it as my duty to at least try and be the best professional I can be and this is how it looks for me.

Share your own reflections with your wider teaching community by sending them to me. Email me at t.made.english@gmail.com and I’ll share your responses to the prompts in this book.
